This is where many of us fall short: The simple act of submitting and going to places that get one noticed. So good for your for your hard work bearing fruit!

SO glad you found Brenda Warren's site, The Sunday Whirl. Your take is excellent, especially the "vanilla-encrusted ground," which I have not seen on any other take. Great work by a great poet! Peace, Amy, and here's my Whirl take (been there awhile):
https://sharplittlepencil.wordpress.com/2011/12/05/christmas-tree-with-a-schmear/Amy Barlow Liberatore/Sharp Little Pencilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00546103899091072370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1572125357353092832.post-42650999068188924772011-12-07T20:12:55.819-08:002011-12-07T20:12:55.819-08:00cool wordle Bruce! and wonderful news about your c...cool wordle Bruce! and wonderful news about your conference win; I won a similar experience last Spring in Colrain, Mass - it was a poetry manuscript publishing conf and also had very few people accepted;it is by far the most informative thing I've ever attended. I'm still revising and re-revising the manuscript from there but I fully expect to publish it eventually ... I loved Colrain but really envy you Cape Cod, one of my most favourite places on the planet!S.E.Ingrahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02135141369161538082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1572125357353092832.post-50768680808522704782011-12-06T06:44:25.479-08:002011-12-06T06:44:25.479-08:00Loved your wordle! I especially like: "December, you subtle beast, you corner us on the precipice of winter before we have an inkling of what's happening."Mariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17734900426632493796noreply@blogger.com
