Charm Against Texting
the nectar of three plums
to stop their nervous thumbs
a pulp of collard greens
to fog up busy screens
a beetle’s carapace
to get them face-to-face
a leaf of celery stalk
to get them all to talk
an abalone pearled
so they can see the world
